Set high above Ibiza’s rural heartland, this exceptional seven-bedroom villa comes with a tourist licence and enjoys sweeping vistas stretching from Sant Llorenç to Formentera. Blending Moroccan-inspired character with the calm of Mediterranean living, the property stands as one of Rolf Blakstad’s earliest and most emblematic creations—a contemporary interpretation of the traditional riad. After more than two decades off the market, this landmark residence now offers a rare chance to own a piece of island history, combining timeless architecture with exciting future potential. Designed for slow, sunlit living, the interiors revolve around a tranquil central patio—an homage to Moorish courtyards reimagined through Ibiza’s design traditions. The centre of the home is a peaceful terrace where a shimmering pool sits beneath elegant fabric canopies and low-slung lounge areas, creating an intimate retreat for warm afternoons and sunset rituals. Beyond the main terrace, a second pool stretches along the garden’s edge, framed by far-reaching sea views and a domed stone pavilion that serves as the perfect lookout point. Inside, the eastern influence continues. A grand reception hall crowned by an impressive dome becomes the home’s social anchor, illuminated by intricate lanterns and surrounded by sculptural built-in seating ideal for long evening conversations. The kitchen and dining space offers a convivial atmosphere, enhanced by a painted alcove and a deep-set window seat overlooking the grounds. As night falls, six serene bedrooms invite rest with soft tones, canopy-style beds and organic textures, while a separate staff apartment ensures effortless service and privacy. Fully independent thanks to its own water supply and solar energy system, the villa is a secluded sanctuary that pairs authenticity with modern comfort—an extraordinary retreat in the centre of the island.
